Research lines:

1- Functional and structural genomics. Proteomics

This line aims to develop research in order to characterize genomes and proteomes. It also aims to identify molecular markers to elucidate metabolic pathways, molecular mechanisms, understanding the regulation of gene expression, cell signaling and development of the organisms, looking for different application possibilities.

2-Population genetics and molecular evolution

It aims to develop methods of analysis and apply the methodologies established for the study of evolutionary processes at different scales, including phylogeographic and phylogenetic approaches.
